>> What is it?

Tuesday, September 03, 2002"Take a running leap!" they saidThe cliff was sheer and tall- the other side of the pass was not far away. an abyss of clouds distorted the space between. I watched them run and leap and stumble, then turn to me with bloodied knees and smile at how green it was. I looked past my edge and wondered at their foolish energetic ways The other side was an easy stride away, I need not use such force and drive. scoffing at their sweaty, happy faces- I took a calm, cool step. I felt the firm, smooth soil of the father edge. I felt it as it crumbled, the thinnest outstreatched bit. and as I fell they reached for me Concern for one they once stood with- But I hadn't tried enough. What do you think that was about? I would like to know what people's thoughts are on it. For a frame of reference, I just wrote it now, it's not an old one I dug up.
